An entree of Warrain Beach pan-fried Pipis in olive oil, garlic and red chilli.

Spaghetti Chorizo Julianno.

The earth continues its relentless rotation. Night envelopes the bay.
Zzzzzz

Day 2. The sun appears in time for pancakes on the beach.

Paddling along the edge of the Groper Coast towards the Jervis Bay entrance. Bowen Island in the distance.

Our first view of Point Perpendicular.

Seal salute.

Bream Beach / Blackboat Cove

As we wandered along the inner cliffline we suddenly became aware of whales surfacing near Point Perpendicular. With our focus now shifted towards the whales we sprinted past the towering cliffs towards the sea.

Point Perpendicular ... but the whales had departed for deeper water.

Paddling back into Jervis Bay to continue our exploration of the cliffline.

Orpheus enters the Underworld.

Closely followed by the Argonauts.

We parked our kayaks nearby and swam into the rock shaft to snorkel through its lime green interior sub-surface spaces. What a magnificent series of underwater chasms and inter-connected rooms. We saw many large abalone and slipper lobsters.

There are many passages into the underworld along this coastline.
